Tramonto Bellissimo

Tramonto Bellissimo means beautiful sunset in Italian. So musical. Looking through my photos there are sunsets from all over. The first ocean sunset photo was akin to striking gold. Over time, there are many more sunset photos. Sunsets are without a doubt the most popular shot in my portfolio. The top photo above is North Beach in San Francisco CA. Below it is the island of Capri off Sorento Italy.

What makes Sunsets interesting is their uniqueness. While we think of yellows, oranges, and reds as the sunset colors, sunsets cover most of the color spectrum. Other things that influence a sunset view include moving objects such as birds and airplanes and fixed objects including trees and buildings. Framing the view we have foregrounds, backgrounds, heat, clouds, weather, the ocean etc. It’s not just the setting sun.
