One of the years favorite shots. We were surrounded by Vineyards and Vistas in Portugal's Douro River Valley. The view captures the essence of the my hiking team and the essence of the view.

Port Wine has not been part of the norm in our household. Why, not really sure. As we hiked the Douro River Valley and its Vineyards we learned about the area and its main products - tourism and Port Wine. Before the hike we mistakenly thought of Port as red wine, only to learn of its both white and tawny varieties. Tawny is red wine that as it ages in oak barrels turns brownish-amber.
