A couple of times a year I go on a Photo Walk. It’s an organized group event with like-minded people usually discovering new places. The walks have a lot of similarities to formal training experiences and are great for building an inventory of new images.
This one took me to somewhere I never knew existed. A previous blog about a Skateboard Park under the Zakim Bridge in Boston was shot in the same area. However, the walk was about photos of the bridge and area at sunset. Ironically, I drive over this on the bridge about 3 to 5 days a week and was unaware it existed.
This collection is a mix of monotones and color. The color shot is on a 3 second shot on a tripod at f/4 and ISO 100. The lights are burning out the company names on the buildings intentionally. Our second shot is looking up between the lanes with a handheld camera at 1/20 seconds, f/5.6 and ISO 100.
Check out my website for more shots in this collection and more. Keep in touch with our blogs or get on the email list as we are always adding new materials.
