I love shots like these. Taken last spring at the dress rehearsal for the King's Birthday, called the Colonel's Review. See the blog below with more info about the Kings Birthday and the UK custom. Dumb luck had us at Buckingham Palace on the right day to witness the fanfare, without the crowds.
Shots like this do an excellent job at showing motion in a 2-dimensional image. Without the depth of reality, or being a video, capturing motion is a challenge, or art. This shot was a matter of perfect timing capturing the lady taking photos right between two rows of the Troop which I believe is the Life Guards, part of the Household Cavalry Regiment.
The obvious question of course is whether she has a similar shot of me. For more on the story of the King's Birthday check out: https://www.pesaturophoto.com/post/trooping-the-colour
