Another sunrise shot from Nahant Beach. It was the same morning as the previous shot with a different perspective. The sky is on fire silhouetting the spent beach grass.  The grass looks crisp as the focal point and is enhanced by the sunrise.

What’s cool about sunrises and sunsets is that no two are identical. What's overlooked is they are constantly changing as the sun rises and its angle with the atmosphere. The prismatic effect bends as the angle between the sun and the earth. As the angle changes, the light fans out and separates the white light into the different colors that make it. A great example of light prisms is the cover of the Pink Floyd album, Dark Side of the Moon.

One thing I like about winter sunrise is the sun comes up at around 7AM. It somehow compensates for the frigid cold in this case of 15 F / -9C.
